Shadow and Highlight is a good feature as well as the Lasso Tool....but the undo is unstoppable in my work flow!!Smile

the clone tool is the one i use the most.

After that, i use the liquify tools if it is a model shoot and they are a little self concious. Wink

For me it would be layers. Without fail I always duplicate the background layer which means I'm not affecting the original pixels of the file and it gives me more flexibility because I can use the Blending Modes and change the opacity of effects. If you name your layers you can see what techniques you used when you come back and look at an old photo, otherwise you can look at old stuff and think "that's great, but I can't remember how the hell I did it!".

Excluding "open" for me it would be duplicate layer, I automatically create a new layer straight after opening a file and only ever work on duplicate layers, it just makes things so much easier should I not like how things are going.
