I've just had a follow up phone call from the Cuckoo Fair last week which, if it comes to fruition, could result in an order for 60 framed prints. I'm meeting with the customer on Thursday to discuss options and hopefully, select the images - so wish me luck (whatever the outcome its always nice to have a follow up on a contact)
I've also sold a couple of mounted prints + a large framed image from the exhibition over the last couple of days, so things are looking up ![]()
Well, I had the meeting this morning and got verbal agreement for the contract (which don't mean a thing until its confirmed in writing
)
Its quite nice that the job will be phased so I don't have to sort out all 60 images in one go.
Better yet, there may be an additonal need for some of my larger images too, so, its a case of "so far, so good".
I'll just have to be patient and wait for the formal bits to be confirmed in writing (whilst finalising my image portfolio for the client to select from)
I'm getting quite excited now (I just hope its not premature)
Well, the first stage of this project has kicked off and I have provided 28 images to be converted into box canvases and supplied to the developer.
In addition I've heard that my large prints taken earlier have been installed in the the common room of another part of the scheme and are meeting with approval from both clients and visitors.
Its not a large sum of money but still one of the most satisfying projects I've been associated with and, who knows, I may get phase two next year ![]()
