I know this is probably another silly question but i just can't make it work! I bought a polaroid pogo portable printer, fun gadget prints via bluetooth and via pict bridge on camera..I can do that no problem and it prints small 2x3.5 images which are self adhesive. I wanted to make some quick cards by printing off some of my flowers but you can't print from the computer. I have put photos back onto a memory card which the computer shows are there but the camera says 'no images' I have reformatted card, transferred images with camera connected and also not connected..I give up, any suggestions?Jane

Does Pict Bridge change the format of the image files when transferring from camera to computer ? eg RAW->JPG or RAW->TIFF ?

I think I've confused you (or myself!) I don't have a problem with the phone and don't use this very much at all (its only 2mp) its the images on the computer that I want to print via pict bridge on my Olympus Camera.

It may be that the phone relies on the EXIF data and if you're moving files from the printer to the phone the significant EXIF fields may not be populated.

Quote: print via pict bridge on my Olympus Camera

Are you returning the images from a computer to a memory card so that it may be pictbridged to a printer.....?

If so chances are it will not work, When the camera actually takes the images in the first place, Then they are sent to a pictbridge device directly, Thats a different matter......It has something to do with additional Pictbridge data written at the time, That resides on the memory card.

Once you have removed the images from the card, And certainly after you have formatted the card, That pictbridge data is no longer avialable........For those particular images......!

Any new images taken will have the pictbridge facility available via the camera as usual........!

Well thats my understanding of things anyhow......I don't use this so can't run any tests to prove things one way ot the other....!

Sorry Chris, I'm not trying to move anything to the phone. I'm trying to move files from the computer to a Compact flash card to use in my camera. It's the same camera I used to take the photos and the photos are clearly on the card when it's in the computer they just won't show up on the camera. Jane

Does that mean I just can't move photos back to a card at all to be printed? Jane

Have you edited the photos in any sense?

*Editing includes merely rotating them using a picture viewer*
