Hi all, I had to share this with you this was taken after receiving camera back after a 337.20 full service and replacement shutter from a authorized canon service center in Stoke on Trent., As you can see the sensor has not been touched at all, when the camera went in for service the sensor was in a good clean condition. I have sent images to them with a e mail but have had no reply. Disgusted to say the least. Although the camera does work well now.

Not good, you would think a senser clean would be part of the service. Obvously your referring to lehmanns . I hope this gets resolved, keepus informed

Yes Lehmanns Hope to get resolved but in Mallorca now for two months working, This was back up Camera so not a massive problem, I will have to get a cleaning kit here.Really annoyed as I thought a full service and clean would include sensor and especially as no reply to e mail

e-mails can get "lost" where a phone call would not go amiss.
Note all details for future reference in case they don't play.

Only when complaining, when buying they always seem to get through ;=)

If they are a authorised Canon service centre, then report this to Canon themselves. I am sure you get a promp reply from the service centre

An old rag would get it cleaner than that!

If 'they' don't clean it and sort you out....................spill the beans on here and their Facebook page. Companies usually jump to get rid of bad press like that!

Camera was a Canon 1DSmk11 and the shutter did need replacing. I am going to call them Monday, not that they can do a lot now, would be nice to get a credit for a clean next time, If there is a next time that is which at the moment I doubt. Trouble here on Mallorca is there are no service centers, all on mainland and any way I prefer to get done in UK for obvious reasons.
