I love macro photos - show us your best macro shots taken with Tamron lenses, and if you're happy we will put together an article with the best shots shown (posted in this forum thread). (If you want to reply but don't want featuring in an article please specifically say so).

Thanks! Smile

Why the restriction to Tamron ?

What is wrong with macro shots taken with either a Sony or Sigma ( The lenses I have Wink ) ... and I assume the Nikon / Canon users could ask a similar question !

Here you go then just to get the ball rolling, here's something called a Lime Speck Pug, which is a type of moth with a wingspan of about 18-200mm. Taken using a Tamron 90mm Sp Di Macro.....

This is the seed head of a Cranesbill. Each individual seed is approx 2mm.
I use a Tamron SP Di 90mm macro on a Pentax K20D. I am restricted with the type of shots because of a dodgy left hand, so opt for shots of flowers etc whereby I can be more choosey about subject, composition, light etc. I now use this lens almost exclusively as it has such a wide range and simply gives the results I require (i.e. I love it to bits!!SmileSmile Carolecranesbill-seedred.jpg

Thank you Mike. They're from way back, on a Canon 10D if I remember rightly.

EDIT: Not sure why the toadstool has uploaded twice???

The Tamron 90mm macro is a fantastic bit of glass! Here are a few I've taken with it...
