Don't get me started on the post office!!!! While I have nothing against official strikes, our area has had so many unofficial ones lately, its stating to take the p***.

And that's where I'm going to end it, as I'm feeling too ill at the moment to go into a rant.

Having recently been involved in the Prison Service strike I can understand how they are feeling. However, the amount of times they mess up the post in my local area, prevents me from feeling much sympathy towards them!!

A couple of years ago I might have said a postal strike would have caused me a great deal of havoc, but unfortunately for the post office email and fax are much more reliable.

I cannot see the point of a strike over pay it will take months to get back what pay they have lost.
Having said that the members have to do as they are told!!
I've never had much of a problem with the post office itself, items I've sent normally arrive on time.

Speaking as someone who has a large package of gear which I need for a big trip held up, I think the sentiment:

Quote: Sack the lot of them

smacks of the worst kind of wet pants liberalism Wink

They could at least run a skeleton service, as all that post will still need to be delivered next week, so they'll have heavier bags to carry...
All this will do is play into the hands of the other providers and drive business to them, as their staff are far less likely to strike!

Foot, shoot, in the, yourself...
