thats exactly the point i am trying to make we do what we can to our best ability! but the question asked was when do you step over the line as of from beginner, armature, semi pro and all the way up to so called pro? "that's going to get em biting" this could be fun no offence ment.

very rare I do a shoot where I'm not asked "how long have you been doing it for"
it's an interesting one really - it's 2 years full time, 7 years since paid wedding no.1 and 10 years since DSLR no.1
I still find it amazing that I actually get paid for effectively doing my hobby - even walking around building sites with a group of directors and managers trying to get "brochure" shots is rather enjoyable.
I may feel differently were I shooting products all day
But as I'm head honcho, I choose not to do that.... very often anyway ![]()
if you sell a pile of bricks, are you a professional or semi professional brick seller ?
if you sell some photos you are a person who has sold some photos....
