Quote: Or in the spirit of the forums at the moment a well placed link to a blog

quite happy with how that one panned out Wink

there's more life in the cemetary I'm looking at right now than in the forums most days. Well there's a little Cirtoen with an old dear tending a grave, so it's rock and roll out there today Wink

The forums to tend to be not as lively as they once were - is it perhaps that there are just too many amateurs using them?

    Wink

    I concur...

I think many people have been scared off by the 'determined to be annoyed' brigade.

    Those damned DTBA Brigade.

I thought Cameron Clegg had promised to have them disbanded when he took power?

    I blame the Amateurs.

Sounds good... working hard then I see Tongue

......I had that just as I secured a wedding, it was kinda work Wink

Just drinking a toast to the agreement

Was lovely though - liquorice and treacle mixed together, that kinda taste

Having over the last week discovered the fun that can be had on these forums here's my contribution to the topic Ade.

One of the differences between amateurs and pros is:

Pros try to do more and more with less kit.
Amateurs end up doing less with more and more kit.

    Or:

Pros look for creative ways to improve their images.
Amateurs look for the newest camera or lens to magically improve their images.

But I'm very glad about this because it finances camera development. Wink

lol - I call kit hoarders "magpies" on account of their love of shiny things they never use Wink
