Question about stopwatches - rather stupid and not very exciting but help please!

I want a cheap (pref < tenner) stopwatch that has the feature of being about to 'count down' to a particular time. So for example, when I'm doing 2 minute down stays with my dog, instead of having to set it off and wait for it to count up to 2 mins, I can set it to count down and give a small beep when I get to zero.

Sounds straightforward but I don't know what this sort of feature would be called so don't know what to look for!

thanks

ps Also maybe a cumulative time would be useful, but to go over a few hours. So I can set it on and off when I sit down to work and record my hours.

Its called an alarm.

Get a watch with "Chronograph & Countdown Timer" - 5.

Depends on how accurate you want it to be. You could use a simple kitchen timer.

My phone does all of that.

I just want it to be a sort of simple digital stopwatch with a big display like this

I googled that Swwils and it came up with something in the order of 200!

I dont' have a fancy phone and this would be useful to have as a separate item to share around.

The kitchen timer is quite a good idea, I'll look into that. Though it would be nice to have that functionality but able to hang round your neck.

thanks for suggestions, has given me some ideas to work on!

Oh you probably searched chronograph. A decent mechanical chronograph will run you 300 easy haha.

Why not teach the dog to bark when it is time for you to get up, cheaper than buying a watch Wink

He's not a very good time detection dog!
