I once sold a house to Jon in Barnes, London. Must have been circa 1970. A true Gentleman.

I'll add my condolences to the list. Deep Purple were a little before my time but I still love their music, and they influenced many of my favourites too...

A great man and a great shame but he'd not been well for some time so I guess three score years and eleven wasn't as bad as it could have been.

    My rock youth. Sad

Weren't really my cup of tea in their heyday, appreciate them more now, I saw a good BBC-4 documentary about them and Jon Lord came over really well, I really liked him. What a sad loss Sad

A sign you're getting old(er) when all your teen heroes start dying... Sad

I'll put a album on and raise a glass of something nice in his honour
