Sad news today, that Steve Jobs has died at the age of 56.

    http://www.boston.com/Boston/businessupdates/2011/10/steve-jobs-apple-founder-de...

Whether you loved him or hated him, you have to admire him for what he achieved and what he bought to the world.

    Cheers

    Jo

I doubt Apple will be the same without him, it takes a special kind of CEO to consistantly ignore what the market reaserch says and just put out the product you think is right. Luckily he got it right more often than he got it wrong.

1990 was my first experience / purchase of the Mac brand (you used to have to go to industrial estates to find them)...and I've been buying the brand's overpriced computers (and more recently gadgets) ever since. For a tight northerner that is genius! Steve Jobs will be truly missed - he designed products that people didn't know they wanted.

A true inspiration to me. The first personal computers I used heavily were Macs.

No, Chris - you wore your first Mac behind B&Q.

If you make a list of life's achievments and founding PIXAR is 3 or 4 - you're a genius.

Terrible shame, 56 is nothing, poor guy has been robbed.

    iRIP to a innovative legend.
