I was browsing the forums, in particular the 'Focus on Imaging' thread, and realised what difficulty there seems to be in arranging times and meeting places at the show, so people can get together. Miss it miss out as they say.

Hows about having some enamel badges with the ePHOTOzine logo? I feel sure they'd sell well. Too late for this show obviously...but somehow I think there will be others.

there is a paper badge that we print out and slip into the plastic holder when we get to Focus, have a look at the last post on the focus thread and you'l see what I mean.

    Good luck

    Thanks Anthony

    I've printed one out.

I must admit though, I was thinking more of a permanent item for all meets, or just to wear as a badge when you're out and about with a camera... or even when your not.

You could always buy the EPZ Teeshirt.

Why not have an EPZ tattoo done.
    (just an idea)

Colin - how on earth did you know that's where we met on our first London ePz meet?! I didn't wear a carnation, but I felt a right wally, even so. Avoid Waterloo station, that's my tip. Far too many people. I'll go for the tat' myself.

I agree with the enamel badge idea. I was at San Francisco Zoo and didn't realise that another EPZer was there as well taking the same shots of the same animals as me.

I'd definately stunp up a few quid/dollars for something obvious to other members if we cross paths.

I was thinking along similar lines, although without resorting to self-mutilation. Wink

    An ePHOTOzine eyepatch?

Could we have a nice black long sleeved t-shirt, "feminine cut" (what?) and a subtle ePz logo - for the laydees, please? Can't always wear these unflattering T-shirts, you know. And they're a bit chilly.
Actually, forget that - how about a fleece?

The best bet would be a print-out that you can stick in the pocket on your camera bag (think it was mentioned above) as you should never leave home without it (was referring to the camera bag, but could be used for the 'label' too Wink )

The badge or patch idea would be good too.

'T' Shirts and tattoos? Hmmm Nuff said. I think if I'd have bursting for the loo it would have been a passing feeling - it would have been extracted by you lot without need to leave the armchair.

I've seen lots of people wearing enamel badges with pride, emblazoned on their anoraks maybe, but with pride nonetheless.

Kyd - Waterloo has its advantages, in that if you don't like the person your supposed to meet, you can always choose another. Maybe one without badges and an anorak for tattoos and a T shirt...

We're only havin' a larf, Lewis....just look out for the ugliest people there and you'll be odds on. Closer to the time, people will start leaving contact times, dates and locations.
