    yeah... more interesting than exploding balloons or footballs in the face...! they're so (scarily..) accurate aren't they...!

    I used to drive the M40 regularly and the sight of the kites wheeling overhead always brought a smile to my face - especially this time of year with the juveniles playing in mid-air. Unfortunately I rarely managed to find the time to stop and watch (let alone photograph) them.

    Apparently Gigrin gets up to 600 red kites in an afternoon when food is scarce
