I hear they have now confirmed that the skeleton is that of Richard111
Given that it was found in a social services car park, I wonder if he was on his way to collect his invalidity benefits???????

I understand that he failed to pay the parking fee for his horse so it was clamped and he wouldn't pay the fine so he was dealt with on the spot! Smile

As a Yorkshireman and a History graduate I'm delighted! He was the last king who was a genuine man of the North. Perhaps now a realistic reappraisal of a much-maligned king could be undertaken; oh, and he must be re-interred in York Minster! I can't really see that anywhere else is appropriate.
