The goverment must have a low opinion of the common people. They seem to think that a Royal Wedding will make us forget that we're being dumped upon.

Just been to B&Q; Homebase; Wickes, etc., and they have run out of garden shed paint and creosote. What am I going to do ? My wife has suggested, "Why don't you go out with a camera and photograph all the thousands painting their sheds? It will be better than street photography." Without the wisdom of women mankind would have become extinct ages back.Tongue

steady on............ you need a cold beer my friend.

Bert, said to his wife, "I invited a friend home for supper."
    "What? Are you crazy?
The house is a mess, I haven't been shopping, all the dishes are dirty, and I don't feel like cooking a fancy meal!
I know all that. Then why did you invite a friend for supper?

Because the poor fool's thinking about getting married.

Not a problem William should have I don't suppose

Well, it all sounds a bit crowded.

Just as well to give a miss!

Think of the queue for the booze at the bar!

Speaking to an Australian family on holiday here this afternoon, they were no more enamoured over the wedding than I am.

I'm going to spend part of the day helping my son look for a car and the rest in our posh shed at the bottom of the garden, with a good book and a bottle of wine.

I'm Sure Ken still has tickets available for his paint drying watchathon but the price might have gone up due to demand.

Shall we have a virtual street party? all we need is someone to organise a `group' Wink

Suggest Kronenberg would be more fitting than Babycham...It's hardly an an "English" Royal Wedding....
