The cats have just made me jump out of my skin!!!
I was watching the report about the meteorite hit on Skynews and all of a sudden the television went crazy!!! Then I realised it happened just after the 'boys' thundered through (yes, they are playing 'wall-of-death' again!). One of them must have stomped on the remote!!

LOL at the cats,
not good about the metorite
To get through the atmosphere it must have been at least 30 feet in diameter and would have broken up on the way down. The one passing us tonight (7.24pm GMT) is 150 feet! Still small in asteroid terms, but big enough to wipe out a city!! 17,000 miles is a rizla paper in astronomical terms!!
Looks like something from a Lars von Trier film. Or a bad armageddon blockbuster. And it sounds pretty wild too. No wonder the cats went wild!
Scary but rather cool at the same time!

Um.........actually............that's normal for them!! We live in the UK and didn't actually see/hear the meteorite!
Ah, I misunderstood: I thought the meteorites on TV had prompted their latest outburst.
Next youíll tell me your cats donít watch TV, right?
Is anyone bothering to watch out for the Asteroid tonight?
If the end is coming I`d rather just sit and wait for the lights to go out
At magnitude 7.4 or so it's going to be hard to spot in my light-polluted skies, even with my 7x50s.
Nigeyboy a Rizla paper is 13 tenths (1.3 thou) I know this as I use one as packing the otherday when rebuilding a motor! thank god for digital mics!
Been a funny old week news wise, I even read that the evening the Pope announced he was standing down the top of St Peter's in the Vatican was struck by lightning! Did anybody else read that?

If you go over to the bbc web site they had a video of it, the lightening also defied the old wives tale and struck twice in the same spot, the top of the vatican building.
I read yonks ago that according to the soothsayers this last pope would be the last. Then what???? Hold on to your hats folks.
