Does anyone have any personal experience of this monitor and, in particular, how well it can be calibrated with a Spyder 4?
OK. So no-one using this monitor.
The next question must be: Why?
For around £550 the specification looks amazing but I have no experience with Samsung monitors and would welcome other forumites sharing their concerns about them with me.
I wouldn't have any concerns about buying a Samsung monitor. They're an innovative company, although I'd be more wary of their marketing literature.
The specifications do look interesting, but the price is such that it's approaching Eizo and NEC territory, where the specs wouldn't be as glitzy but where you'll gain high-bit colour depth, programmable LUT, better panel uniformity.
You're also forgoing a wide gamut, which is generally an attractive spec to photographers.
