Hi just got a press release about SanDisks new highspeed card (well yesterday).

Two things concern me, personally I wouldn't want to trust one card to hold that much data (but I guess it is aimed at film makers) Secondly it costs 1 cent under $1500 Seems a tad expensive!

Just wondered what others thought of this?

    Meercat,

    I share your view.

Not being interested in movie making on a dSLR, I deliberately use 2 x 8Gb Sandisk Extreme cards with another couple in reserve, rather than trusting anything larger.

Agree 4gb cards is about my limit in what I would trust. But picking up on the movie making bit, I read in a Pro mag recently the 5D MKii it was the movie function that was the decisive selling factor in over 1/2 the purchasers.

Tho I guess a lot are wedding photographers so I can see the benifits there.
