Is anybody else getting text messages telling them they could be due £3,750 compensation for an accident claim they filed?

Robbie has had two of these in the last few days, obviously she is ignoring them, but we wondered whether it is a general thing.

Also, is there somewhere to report the phone number from which they are being sent?

    Cheers

    Ian

Not getting them on either O2 or Vodafone - Not sure where you report them, maybe the provider you are with?

Thanks Gary, confirms our suspicions then.

From what I remember when I looked into it they want you to respond to the text then they sell your number on a marketing list. Ignor them and they seem to stop.

My wife and I have both had this message and we're both on Orange, so it's not just Vodaphone and Tesco. Didn't respond to it, even though I did have a crash 3 years ago.

If anyone really wanted to fight a claim like that on my behalf, I'm sure they'd call and want to speak to me, not just send a text message. And then I'd ask for more details to check up before proceeding anyway, but the whole scenario is unlikely.

I have had this message a couple of times (since last December). I'm on O2. Ignore it. They will give up in the end.
