i have recently won a photography competition in my area and am wanting to sell the camera, where are some good websites to sell, preferably locally, if it helps i live in south wales and the camera is a Pentax k-x 18-55mm and i am assuming it can be classed as brand new as i havent used it once.
As Justin has suggested, Use the EPZ classifieds, Look under the " Home " tab on the home page......

Price wise, Well its new, If you want to make it tempting just under cut the current new price a little.
Its a great litle camera, Should sell fairly quickly.
It does help to price the item so that it'll be attractive to a potential buyer. The snag is that when you say "sensible offers considered", ALL potential buyers will expect a discount.
When you sell on Fleabay, it's hard to predict the hammer-price. I'm having a good de-clutter and some items have fetched more than I ever dreamed was possible.
You can buy a new one for £379, so although your camera is unused, it would still have to be a fair bit cheaper than the new price in order to attract interest and for it to sell. Otherwise a purchaser could buy a brand new one, with a full guarantee, possibly no shipping costs and with the added advantage of buying from a reputable company with a good return policy, should anything be amiss. Those advantages are something that generally aren't available when buying secondhand, so this would need to be taken into account when setting the price.

I dont think it is possible to change the classified ad now is it? anyway i was thinking of selling, possibly alongside my camera, a used 50-200mm lens in good condition, and buy either a tamron 70-300mm or a pentax 55-300mm as i wouldnt need an 18-55mm, 50-200mm and a 55/70-300mm
