Flutter on down to your local shop and buy an Arctic Butterfly ......

There are 2 ways to go IMHO.

    1. Dry static cleaning with a brush that is statically charged. The Arctic Butterfly is the usual (but expensive for what it is) solution. A good unsized artists brush charged with a blast of compressed air can also do the job.

    2. Sometimes you do need to give it a wet clean. Sensor swabs and Eclipse cleaning fluid is my preferred route. Although there was some problem with one formulation of Eclipse and a few sensors on the Canon 5D. Which swabs and fluid for which camera is detailed on their website.
