I use the above and find it OK, but I have just started trying to work in raw and wanted to edit in raw studio, but I cant open it. I have the book and it states that if you open a raw photo it will go to raw studio, but it dosen't. Has anyone got experience with this programme? thanks
    Bill

Hi, I've just had a look at the attached. I think you need page 22?

ps, Is this the same book as you have looked at?

I use PhotoPlusX3 and upon opening a RAW file from within X3 it does open in RAW Studio.

    Two points:

    1) Are you opening the RAW file from within X4?
    2) Are you sure that your camera model is supported by X4

I find the PhotoPlus RAW Studio a bit slow with limited adjustments. Brilliant image editor, possibly better than Photoshop Elements in some respects but a poor RAW converter. I prefer Lightroom for my RAW files and then transfer as TIFF to PhotoPlus for further work,if needed.

Thank you both for your replies. Yes, it is the same book, Franken and like Railcam says, it should open in raw studio, but it dosen't. Railcam, my camera is Nikon D5000 and all the other studios work. I thought I would check here before I contacted Serif and made a fool of myself. thanks again for your help. I shall have to look at lightroom I have heard others talk about it

The D5000 appears to be supported but you may need to update the program for the latest raw version.
