Sue Bishop book is good in my opinion. Alot of her stuff uses minimal DOF to get soft arty shots that you either like or hate.

I bought the Tony Sweet book some time ago and found it a bit of a disappointment. It only covers three or four techniques mainly aimed at using film such as multiple exposures and moving the camera whilst taking the shot. Look up his web site and you'll find images from the book.

Sue Bishop's book is definitely the better of the two.

John Shaw's 'Close Ups in Nature' is one of the best books I've read on Macro photography. He shoots a lot of flowers and the book is a goldmine of information whether you do Macro or not.
