I've had one for a few years and have found it very good while traveling and am very pleased with the results.

I have had both versions (OS&nonOS). Both of them gave good results,especially the OS version. I have only recently sold this lens only because of lack of use. I would recommend it.
I think the only problem can arise from Sigma's indifferent quality control which can allow the odd slightly substandard copy through.
However I have over time had several lenses and not had a problem so I think it is a very minor problem.

Its my default lens and like it a lot.
