Depends how much you want to spend.
    Landscapes Sigma 10-20mm
    Walkabout/journalism Canon17-85mm IS
    Journalism/limited nature Canon 70-300mm IS

    or

    Landscape Canon 17-40mm L
    Walkabout Canon 24-105mm L
    Journalism/Limited nature Canon 70-200mm 2.8 L IS

do you mean you want to relace the sigma 18-200 with something better or something to add to it.
reason i ask is i have one in my bag and i cant believe how good it performs. it equalls anything i have apart from the Nikkor 12-24

for photojouralism i would think its a perfect choice but i can see the restrictions of one for landscape with the slight distortion you may get to horizons etc.

Thanks for the replies guys, I don't wish to replace, but simply find a lens that is more suited to landscape photography. Happy with current lens for city, portrait and photojournalism - Jonathan

Yes, distortions to the horizon.....I've noticed that - J

id have to say the sigma 10-20 as i dont think it has a true rival for price and quality.

If you had said in the first place I would have just said the Sigma 10-20mm, unrivalled, assuming you have a crop sensor camera.
