See what you mean Rod. All I can think is a new version is due out but unusual for them to pull the current version before a new version is released.

This the link to Nik Software they seem to be still selling downloads.

Erik

ps I know Nik Software was bought out last year so maybe their about to disappear. Only sales I can find are in $'s and downloads from USA

I'd be interested to hear/see how you get on with this Topaz software.

So will I.

It's been said, within these very pages and by someone who's opinion I respect greatly, that these Topaz things aren't much cop.

We'll see.

I've been using Silver Efex Pro 2 for sometime now if it helps I'll download Topaz and compare how they perform side by side.

I've been using Topaz Denoise 5 and it seems ok.

Topaz B&W Effects. I'm happy with it but don't pretend to be an expert Wink

I've tried Perfect Back & White, part of onOne software's Perfect Photosuite. Link here. I think it's on a par with Silver Efex. Not so keen on Topaz though I agree it's a good price.
