Well, after the success of the Kinloch Rannoch meet two years back, I thought it might be nice to organise a Skye meet this year. My folks have bought a house and three cottages in Struan (Isle of Skye http://www.isleofskyecottages.co.uk/location.shtml) and whilst they have plenty of repeat bookings, I've asked them to reserve the week beginning the 8th Oct 2011 for an EPZ meet.
There are three cottages, each capable of sleeping five people. There's a wood burning stove, flat screen telly and oil paintings of stags if you like that kind of thing in each cottage. Proper tongue in cheek tartan all over the place ![]()
So that's fifteen people .
I'll start a thread tomorrow - this is not a commercial. Sunrise brings silence and peace. Sunset is a better option.....
Wow, very much interested in this as I missed Skye couple of weeks ago.
I will watch this space, closely.
What sort of price is the cottage per person per night?

Where?
I'm very interested but would only be able to do a long weekend if at all. Would we have to commit to the full week?
Ian
Too late to edit my last post. I'll check with SWMBO and get back to you. If we can make it we would probably do the Saturday to Tuesday'ish.
Oh sorry - FB link here -

Hope that's allowed these days!
The cottages would work out at about £60 each per week (£280 per cottage, sleeping five people each). Double beds will have to be first come, first served. Please do feel free to jump in, especially if you haven't been to Skye before, or on an EPZ meet. We will be kind to you! ![]()
Ian, Cole, the cottages are let on a weekly basis - perhaps others will come along who can only manage the second part of the week, and costs could be split?
If five or more people show an interest, I'll get the cottages booked up and start a thread on the 'Members' Meetings' page.
Sounds interesting. We enjoyed our first visit to Skye last year and are planing another visit for later this year, and this might fit the bill nicely. Will be keeping an eye on this thread and the facebook page.
