Hi All
In need of advice please. Recently moved to Australia and purchased macbook air OS X version 10.9. I need a free download that will allow me to manage and edit photos from my canon 350D. Can anyone recommend a solution.

Thanks heaps

A program called GIMP gets very good comments for editing - a bit clunky but does everything most people would need. I don't know what it is like for managing photos but you could do a lot worse than Picasa (free download from google).

Do you not have iPhoto with your mac? It can be quite useful.

Canon's DPP software that should have come on the disc with your camera.

iPhoto, which is bundled with your Mac, will give you all the basic adjustments, and it's non-destructive editing, like Lightroom ( I think? ) You can catalogue, make albums, and it will open any RAW file.

...and of course, as rogerfry says, there's the software that came with your camera.
