Does anyone know anything about this competition? There are no cash prizes, but an entry fee of €15 per photo, & they're asking for high-res images to be entered; but can't see any info as to how they will be used. Does this competition have any sort of standing, or it's just a money-making venture for the photo club of Kumanovo, Macedonia...?...!

This Exhibition is listed as a FIAP Exhibition and I also note that it is supported by UPI and PSA so is just one of hundreds of intenational Exhibitions organised by amateur clubs all over the world. The aim is to obtain some recognition for your photographs compared to other entries. Typically 1 in 6 images will be accepted and this gives you a point towards FIAP and PSA distinctions (letters after your name once you gain enough points). Some of the "best" images will receive gold, silver or bronze medals and a few more a certificate or ribbon. If you read the rules more carefully it is 15 Euros to enter one section (up to four images), 20 Euros for two sections and 25 Euros for 3 sections. This is not untypical for an international Exhibition. A club might expect to make a profit for this but it is not certain and may take a few years to build up a reputation. You should note that this particular Exhibition is unusual as the three Sections are on themes "Men, Woman,Child". Most Exhibtions have open pictorial sections and may also have creative or travel. The entry is digital and the image must be 1400 pixels for the longest side which is not Hi Res but suitable for projection. I have entered many such Exhibitions over the years though not this particualr one. You can find FIAP sponsored Exhibitions listed FIAP.
Just to emphasise again these are amateur Exhibitions entered for fun or more likely to gain FIAP or PSA points.
