What time is everyone arriving?
I should be able to get there about 9.45ish, depending on traffic and I'll have to leave about 2-2.30.

Hi everyone,
I was taking a break this week but as I suggested / set this up thought I had better contribute

I have already received my ticket, should come through the post ( anybody remember that ! ! )

Not only that but also included is the map I uploaded onto this thread with the timings of "arena" events throughout the day.

it would appear that most of the morning events are the show jumping , carriage driving etc.

A few possible interesting ones during the afternoon are:

12:50 The White Helmets - The Royal Signals Motorcycle Display Team
14:35 The Central Band OF The Royal Airforce
14:35 Heavy Horse Turnout
15:35 Cattle Parade .... If my recollection from a previous visit is correct they will all be freshly "shampooed & set "


I have no doubt that there will be other demonstrations / displays on the exhibitors stands throughout the show, but I hope the above gives you some ideas


So, bottom line is, meeting up at 9:45 will be fine.

When you get the map I suggest meet at the Blue Gate ( Public Entrance ) grid reference 29,03

For Sarah The first stand inside the gate is "Public Catering" grid reference 29,04 so I assume you will be able to get your coffee there

Do not think there is anything else to say except if anyone else is interested your are welcome to join us

Thanks for the info,i will be there soon after 9am,i shall leave shoreham in plenty of time knowing what the traffic will be around the area,My ticket arrived today so all ready to go,see you all on Thursday...

Mainly for our friend from Kent Are you OK with the Sat Nav / Google Maps directions ?

I doubt if you will, but if any assistance is required just let me know.

It rained today, but is still quite warm with a couple of showers currently forecast for Thursday.

Hope the tickets have arrived for Julie & Sarah.

Decided not to bring my tripod or backpack. Bought a shoulder bag which I need for another project so will be having it's first outing tomorrow.

I have been busy today but kept an eye on the weather.
Up and Down like a yo-yo ... bright sunshine, raining, windy, fabulous moody looking clouds

Just a reminder the meeting time and place, if we do not meet up beforehand, is :

Hopefully we will have a good day despite the possible inclement weather.

So far, so good, a nice start to the day, just sat for the last hour in the garden having breakfast & a coffee

A little cooler than it has been recently and some light showers forecast around mid-day, time for lunch perhaps and again around 4p.m. - afternoon tea
