Spoof Space Thang

I've just found this Spoof Space thing on TV.

ermmmm

What is the point? Is the audience supposed to find it shriekingly funny that none of these people know the whole thing is a hoax? I mean, what is funny about that?

Or am I missing the point? -Another reality thang .. some interesting space detail - but in which case why make it a spoof?

And what are the after effects of discovering that you haven't made a life-changing journey away from earth and you've been lied to ..

ambles off for her 'sense of humour' injection

My theory is that they're all in on it & the joke is on the viewers!

Why does everyone on reality tv seem so false?

Point a camera at people and very few will be 100% natural - we on EPZ ought to know that better than most!! Wink

There are some of my subjects who deserve a good slap - never satisfied with my pics of them!!

This show is complete bullsh*t.
Anybody who believes that there is a galaxy called the Hazlenut cluster is indeed on another planet.
I agree the viewer is supposed to be the joke. Not....

Reality TV? Whose reality? Certainly not mine. It's got to be one of the worst ideas for a TV show ever. I've caught the odd few minutes here and there(honest Wink). Surely, any one of the contestants just has to take a look at the others, to think, "this cannot be serious".

Anyone who's interested in psychology and human behaviour will find this fascinating.

It gets really ethical though and I'm not sure how C4 will get round this one.

The plot thickens...

Isn't that what the producers said to the critics of Big Brother before the first series. I wasn't convinced then, and I'm not convinced now. It's just "tabloid TV", fodder for the masses.

Don't know Skeletor, it's not as exciting as BB !!!

Sounds more like schadenfreude television to me.

Maybe I should have taken a video camera along with me this morning. Set up the camera and tripod, freezing cold, fingers falling off, the sun just trying to peek over the distant horizon, take a step to the side and plunge my leg up to the thigh in an extremely cold rock pool. A sure-fire ratings winner.
