Hi all just bought a new moniter Dell U2412M IPS and calibrated it with the above once I go through with the calibration it asks for me to save it as normal. However, unlike the Samsung It came up with the Samsung model. This time it doesn't say save U2412m it says save Generic PnP moniter is that Right? Could it mean I've not loaded the moniter software properly and Spyder can't the new moniter?

Hope someone can help

I have the same monitor and another Dell prior to it. It has always come with Generic PnP. Don't worry about it

It is working fine. As a matter of interest, Spyder 4 does recognise Dell monitors and name the profiles accordingly - but it is only a file name.
