Steps not ladders

Can anyone suggest a suitable holiday venue, preferably self-catering in Europe, with a swimming pool that has steps into the water rather than ladders. Would prefer in a position close to local shops and bars/restaurants etc. Thanks in advance, Gerry

Hi Gerry...my favourite holiday destination...Porta pollesa, Majorca.
...wall to wall sunshine whenever I've been May or October...staying at the excellent Flora aparthotel.

2 hour flight from Manchester...on the edge of town and opposite what must be the cheapest restaurant in Majorca...3 course meal with wine, for 2 ...18 euros....I said the cheapest...not the best

...I don't recall steps or ladders but it has a lift in and out of the water.

Thanks Stephen, It was helpful but I am really looking for somewhere to socialise and also where I don't need a car, Gerry
