Just a quickie (not like that!!)

In the yorkshire reigion is anybody aware of a studio that offer a training package based around a real life situation.

I suppose work experience is the area i'm nodding towards but a short course or just a short session (not like that either!!) with someone in the know would be good mental prep.

Anybody who knows anything would be welcome to a pint on the next meet!

Should you not direct this question to Keith?

I considered it but thought it would be cheeky to assume.

If he wants to drop a line down here he's more than welcome without much pressure Smile

I do stuff like this sometimes, but I'm probably a bit far south for you .... also I think the epz team do them sometimes too !

I was thinking of how much for a training session or one of your course then Keith, rather than a free session. He did some lighting stuff as part of the course I was on for example.

I'd never assume a freebie - no matter how many sexual favours are exchanged (although the gobstoppers and tango are always welcome).

Just wanted to put some feelers out to find out if these kind of courses were out there in my region,

Keith teaches studio lighting very well. He did it on a Northscape course I attended. I'd recommend him without hesitation. I liked it so much I bought some studio lights...

Ah! so is studio lighting taught as part of the northscape course?

I thought it was all wooly jumpers and landscapes!

Not as such no, but the weather was bad one afternoon and Keith and Andy where well prepared and had a setup of 5 Elinchrom lights, 4 softboxes and some backdrops ready. A great time was had by all.
