Paul MacKenna - I can make you sleep. There's a self-hypnosis cd with the book. I absolutely swear by him.

Try consciously slowing your breathing down to a sleeping rhythm. Works every time...

Not sure about this but it works for me.

1 Go to bed and do not try to sleep....don't try to fight it just relax and get comfy take afew mins to do this.

2 when you are comfy and relaxed close your eyes and then breathe in thru your nose slowly filling your lungs as far as you can, really fill your lungs so your chest expands and your stomach rises and then hold it in for about 10 seconds. Then slowly and i mean slowly let your breathe out thru your mouth, keep exaling untill your chest contracts and your stomoch goes as flat as possible and then hold it for afew seconds.

3 Repeat this breathing and focus your mind on being relaxed, if you keep doing this for afew mins you should find yourself drifting off if you are like me. If not your buggered .....lol. Goodluck

Oh another way is to tense all your muscles starting from your toes upwards as you lay flat. just tense hold release and then work on different muscles right up your body. By the time you reach your head you will be doppy. again good luck and the advice if it works is very cheap Grin

That will keep you up all night!

(Granted, sex should too, if you're under young enough/have got an understanding boss, but after 35 - its a nice addendum to the Horlicks and lavender essence on the pillow...)
