    Morning Everyone!

    I was searching the forums to try and see whether anyone was talking about this years Take a View competition and came up with nothing so I thought I would start one. This is the first time I have entered after being encouraged by a few members of my camera club. I don't expect to get anywhere but anything would be a great bonus.

    Has anyone else entered this year? I got quite excited when I entered and spent hours trying to hone my photos to give me the best chance I could.

    From what I have seen from previous years threads from what I can understand you hear about being shortlisted around the 25th then from there you wait until October'ish for the result, does this sound about right?

    Well good luck to anyone else who entered, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the competition and how you got on this year.

    Looking back at last year's thread, it seems like it.
    I did enter even though I haven't really got any decent landscape stuffs to enter this year. Just thought why not, if I go one step further this year, it would be a big bonus.
    I am not holding my breathe though.

    I have entered as well. Not had any really outstanding shots this year, so I'm not holding my breath either.

    However on the basis that 'its never the ones you expect which actually do well' I thought it was worth a punt

    Was it the 'Take a View' competition where one of the winners featured a windswept dog? And an offshore windfarm with no land in sight?

    Well done Baz72, just got an email too, I have 2 out of 15 photos shortlisted! I'm amazed!! Truely gobsmacked!

    1 from 7 for me Smile. 1st time I've had one shortlisted in 3 goes!
