for those who are a bit concerned, I've had a reply from Diana about possible upload issues:
I won't actually get access to a copy of the database until the uploads have been completed, but the fact that the info boxes have disappeared is the sign that all should be fine. Your shortlist upload will certainly have been logged, so in the unlikely event that there should there be any problem with a particular file, I will get in touch with you...it would not be eliminated because of this.

That's at least reassuring to know Richard, I have to admit I didn't hang around the computer when they were downloading as it was painfully slow watching that % bar and I used my time cleaning the house (wife's away) inbetween.
I was pleased to have one of my 15 images shortlisted, until I read this thread with so many people having more than one shortlisted... Ho hum.
I wonder how big the shortlist is...

No, looks good though. There seems to be a running theme with their front covers as all 3 so far have featured water strongly.

By accident I found the photo featured as the cover

A list of the winners will be published on the Take a view website from November 2009. Although you generally get an email a few days in advance.
