    Can anyone please tell me how i can take a picture of a drop falling into liquid where the drop bounces back up. hope this is clear.
    Thanks in advance for any help.

    Use flash.....


    Then, take lots of pictures until you get the timing spot-on.

    As a follow-up to this question - can anyone tell me WHY so many people want to take a photograph of a water droplet ????

    Just for fun I suppose Mike, not forgetting the challenge.
    I can understand your view as a pro with a mindset very different from an amateur.
    Rather similar is the batch of smoke swirls seen on here.

    Mike, For me personally, i want to try many different things. This one seems a test and the sucessful ones look great.
    Why do so many people want to take wedding pictures.... the list could go on. If you enjoy what you are doing, then surely this is as important as the picture you take.

    I'm going to take a picture of a nuddie schoolmistress - it's the learning curves that appeal to me.
