I just bought a new Tamron 10-24mm for my Nikon D90 as I had come up with an interior assignment. The lens worked beautifully but there's a major problem.
The lens cannot at all focus at infinity at 10mm, it likes infinity if I go to 15mm. In manual mode I can click a picture which is out of focus.
I have sent the lens back to the shop from where I purchased it and now I am waiting; fingers crossed, period.
Does anybody have experienced such a problem? I came across similar problems on a Pentax forum.

i guess that it should focus, but it probably wouldnt make that much diffence, it would be probably sharp anyway at 10 mm if focused part way in a scene. im not sure i ever have focused on infinity with my nikkor 12-24
At 10mm, focus it at 1m at f11 & you'll be in focus from the end of your nose to Xmas!
Thanks guys, I've tried that but images are not that sharp.
Then you need to get ii exchanged I think
I think so
I got my above lens replaced and the new piece seems to work fine .
