I'm the (increasingly happy) recipient of a lens which Tamron would like to see tested and reviewed over the course of a year (see here). I've been asked by the editorial team to post my daily uploads in here as well. Thanks Sandra, I'll take up your suggestion and start adding that info to the blogs. In the meantime, I don't strip out the Exif, so it should all be there.

Thanks for the technical info, I am now the proud owner of this lens too and am taking it on holiday in a couple of weeks. It's good to see that already there is a good range of subjects and I shall be checking in daily to gain some insight on how to get the best out of the lens and my new D7000!

Superb images so far David. You've inspired me to get out my 18-270mm (albeit the version before this one) and try to do a variety of shots with it. Mind you, you've set the bar pretty high (and I'm only using a Canon 400D), but if you keep coming up with the goods I might trade it in for the new model. Will be watching with interest.
