    Hi guys

Ive come across the above lens on Panamoz, relatively cheap.

    Does anyone own one?

If so, what are your thoughts on the lens

    Hi Mal

    Stunning set of photos there.

This is one hell of a lens by the looks of the results.

I used to have a Tamron 70-300 a few years ago, loved the lens, really sharp at 300 end. was also good at Macro. I was thinking about getting one but think the 18-270 is the way to go.

I've got one. So convenient, and if you're not a pro or too picky the images are excellent as you can see from discreetphoton's excellent trial.

    Hi Gareth,

Most years I try to fit in a couple of city breaks and travelling light with hand luggage only, while taking a DSLR and various lenses is pretty impossible.
I've tried a mates 18-270 and it's going to be a christmas present to myself for New York next year.

I think its going to be in my list to Panamoz this next week.

but think i will start a new thread for that one.

    Thanks again guys.
