    Please - somebody help me!

I have an Epson DX4000 cheap and cheerful all in one printer ....... which is not my main printer .....and gets used for back up and such.

I have just bought some non Epson inks and the damn machine will not let me use them - it tells me I MUST use theirs.

Can somebody advise me how to get round this so that I can get on with what I was trying to do?

I'm sure it should give you the option to accept the inks! I use non epson ink in my 1290 and get a box saying it cant identify cartridge! but still get the option to install.

What Brand are the Replacement inks.

I have an old R300 I use in Emergencies and have no problem using Jet-Tec inks with that.
