If your a fan of smoked ham then head to Tesco and get some off the deli counter it's a bit expensive but my god it's bloody lovelyTongue Got some for work for the rest of the week and it's already goneSmile

Just had some Spam fritters the other night - home made batter, home made chips. Woke up at 3am and not a sign of heartburn or indigestion.Grin

Yes indeed. Spam fritters always went down well during school dinners although in those days you had them with boiled potatoes, peas and carrots all lovingly cooked and prepared on site in the school kitchen.

Same here although it was Yorkshire ham from Morrisons. It was on offer last week so got a good sized wad. Thing is, since the negative publicity over processed meats, I've stopped buying them....period. Only get genuine cooked ham off the bone now and does it get shifted when there's some French bread about. My 19-year old son's generally loitering in the kitchen with intent awaiting my arrival home from the supermarket on Saturday mornings. Mind you, at six foot four I guess he's a decent enough excuse Grin
