    It is fun - can't say I'm having a great deal of success today however - I thought I'd try some still life but my compositions leave something to be desired Smile

    This has been a wonderful thread so I must visit the forums more often. Grin
    I had a little dabble with textures a few weeks ago and this has made me want to do more. I guess I ought to join in so here is a leaf I shot in the snow then applied 3 different textures. The idea was to complement and enhance the autumnal colours.

    I've really enjoyed using the textured BG....something I haven't done before but reckon I will from now on

    This pic I had discarded because of the BG...it was just too messy and the other of Nick was just awful....but I quite like them both now. Excellent thread.

    Yeap, I do think textures work well with portrait and still life.

    I added texture to this photo of Poppy which was quite a dull photo before hand, I was just experimenting with my speedlite and took a quick grab shot of her.
