If there's anyone else who, like me, cannot make the South-East groups New Forest meeting on the weekend of the 15th & 16th of October, would you like to join me at Battle Abbey, on Saturday 15th at 10am, to watch (and photograph, obviously ) the 'annual re-enactment of the 1066 Battle of Hastings, on the very battlefield where it took place.'?
If there's enough (or any) interest shown here, I'll create a meeting page later on...
Aw really wish I could make this, but clashes with the New Forest meet 
It's an event I've attended for the last three years, excellent living history and the attention to detail is exemplary!
