Sorry, a bit slow with my usual announcement.............. yes the colour for 10-17 Feb is MAGNOLIA. Smile
Below is a patch created in PS using its hexadecimal triplet: F8F4FF

A rather subtle colour... white with a hint of pink. It was a colour much used on the walls of domestic homes at one time.

    Oh come on CB!

I'm sitting here in front of a "Council house Magnolia" wall and it's nothing like that!

Magnolia is another colour that probably means different things to different people. I have always thought of it as cream with a hint of pink, so this is my offering.

Never has Colour of the Week been so controversial! Lol! Grin

Perhaps the colour on the wall isn't magnolia? Let's see a pic of it! Wink

In fact, the wall in front of me looks much more like the one in the "Crown" image than it does in my photo!

The Wilkies one is what I would understand as being magnolia paint. When I was a slip of a lad (well, quite hefty actually! Wink) I bought a new-build property with magnolia walls and they looked like this.

    Hi CB!
I live in a council place and they paint everything magnolia (They'd paint me if I stood still long enough) and all the walls in here are magnolia. I know that they call it that because I've got half a tin that a workman gave me.
It's really tricky though, to get a shot that portrays the colour as I can see it. To me, it looks just like the "Crown" version but my camera sees it differently altogether.
To get that shot above, I tried with/without flash, camera's own flash, next to a window, not next to a window, all sorts.
Magnolia paint seemingly looks different depending on the light source and whether you're a person or a camera!

It may be a pretty poor specimen but, at least it's a magnolia flower.
