Hi all,
After selling my old camera, I have now decided to purchase the Canon 500d. I was initally attracted to this camera because of the 15MPs, which is the same as the 50d but cheaper! I'm doing fashion photography, so I wanted to know if this camera was suitable for the genre, also what lenses I should purchase alongside the canon 500d, and which lenses would be more suitable for shooting fashion?

I always aim for a very shallow depth of field in my images, therefore which lens would achieve me an easy, very shallow depth of field.
