Sorry to mention the C word but Chrismas is just a round the corner so as I thought I would invite you all to write a joint letter to one Mr F Chrismas. I think if we hurry we might be lucky with requests but only three items though as he's getting on a bit and we don't want to give a heart attack before Boxing Day.
Dear Santa
Please put a D300 or A900 (not sure which yet) into my stocking along with a 24mm tilt/shift lens and a Portable studio flash generator with two heads
I don't ask for much ![]()
Why are we talking about Christmas already?!!! It's bad enough going into pubs and seeing a Christmas menu in September
Bargh Humbug
Don't, my wife started looking Christmas trees the other day...
Santa, if you can't find Pete's house, or he's been a naughty boy, I'll have that 24mm T/S, thanks.
Dear Santa. I have been a very good boy this year and if you could find a way to put a rocket up the backside of Pentax to produce a digital 'Pentax 67' and arrange for a sample to be in my stocking on Christmas morning, I'll promise to be an ever better good boy.
Honest!

Dear Santa, oh forget it, the state of the postal system means it wont get there anyway...........................................HUMBUG

Dear Santa,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for recent booking and photo shoot. At this point I would like to say that although I was impressed with the artistic and creative input that you and Rudolf put into the shoot, I have to admit to being a little worried about the disturbing nature of some of the images that you required, particularly the set where you were wearing the Wellington boots to help Rudolf over the stone wall. In my opinion you would have been far better off wearing just normal black boots as the green Hunters that you wore clashed terribly with both your trousers and with Rudolf's nose. I would also suggest maybe wearing a tighter belt next time to prevent your trousers falling down as they appear to have in some of these images when you are behind Rudolf in the same set.
In answer to your other question, no, I don't believe that reindeer actually have an "age of consent", so should you wish to repeat or do a similar shoot with us in the future you will not be required to bring Rudolf's mother to sign the model release form.
Perhaps I may be so bold as to suggest that upon the arrival of Christmas this year, you might find it in your heart to leave one, maybe even two, Canon 5D mk II's neatly wrapped under my Christmas Tree this year. Such a gift may alleviate my desire to send some of your photos to both "Hello" Magazine and the RSPCA sometime in the New Year.
Thank you, and wishing you and Rudolf festive greetings
Dear Mr.C,
I've been a very naughty boy this year, 'cos I was a very good one last year and that did nothing for me. It was extremely boring too, not being able to... well, you get the picture.
So, this year, I'm hoping that my change in attitude will result in the reward of:
1. Large amounts of cash in small used notes.
2. An Aston Martin DB9.
3. Katherine Jenkins.
May I be the first to wish you a very Merry Christmas.
JC
Dear Santa,
Im always a good girl and this year I have worked very hard - even harder than usual. I have tried to be nice to my brothers and made more time for my friends.
I would very much like an EOS 1ds mkIII and perhaps a ringflash - if thats too much then I would settle for the 1ds plus the ringflash convertor. I do believe you can get both in Calumet - if you need directions, my nearest calumet is in Leith, Bonnington Road, just round the corner from Sally Hair and Beauty. Im sure your reindeers should be able to find it without too much trouble.
Failing that a selection box or that Prada bag from Debenhams will do I suppose. Oh and some new jammies.
Ill be sure to leave an extra big carrot for Rudolph and some tasty festive treats for you.
with love
Laura xxx

Dear Santa
what with the tourist trade being rather poor this year, and the general economic downturn, I find myself in the fortunate position of being able to offer you a stunning range of photographic art work and associated products, ideal for the Christmas Gift business.
Considering the quantities of gifts which I understand you require, a very worthwhile discount on our normal pricing would be available.
Hoping to hear from you very soon
