    Previous programmes in the series have been very good, so if the football is is not too exciting I might watch this instead.

    What a lightweight programme. I've given up half way through because I can't stand the presenters who don't seem to be able to control their limbs. I've never seen so much arm waving and fidgeting. So irritating.

    I too have tried my best to watch and to learn from this series, but the presentation as been disjointed.....dire, in fact......extremely patronising in parts.

    Agree with the above comments.

    Great subjects to look into, but largely glossed over and disjointed. Really, each invention (photography, film and television) deserved their own show

    I made myself sit through it because there was some interesting stuff in there but couldn't help feeling like being treated as a child watching Blue Peter.

    I watched the football, apart from the goals which were brilliant, it was quite tedious !

    Looks like a bad night all round for interesting TV programmes Sad
