Well, the sun lasted all of 30 minutes. Now it's back to the dull and shadowless world that has been summer 2011. It was nice while it lasted. I'm back off to the grumpy group.

Thanks CB, that sums up my personal weather experience this summer.

I don't think I'm quite as gloomy as Eeyore but if this weather keeps up I may well be.

Although, as I write I can now see some blue sky and a big yellow ball giving off what appears to be light and heat. I know I've seen it before but I just can't remember what it is and what it's called.

Nice to see some of my images used on the Proms again this year. And I've just got my new computer. Happy day!!!
Just hope I don't appear on the grumpy forum later when the changeover all goes wrong. Bound to happen.
